HMB High Surf Team Competition Roster for Pleasure Point Sunday (Feb-24) 7:30 a.m.

Next Sunday's Comp will be against arch-rival Santa Cruz High and the team needs to be on location by 7:30 a.m. for an 8:30 a.m. team-on-team start. There is a decent pulse of swell on tap for next weekend, which could justify bringing a step-up board for short-boarders and fins for body-boarders.

Men's Shortboard: (Heat 1) Hunter, Peter, Luke (Heat 2) Konrad, Thomas, Malcolm (Alt) Griffin, Miles

Men's Longboard: Konrad, Peter, Luke (Alt) August, Griffin, Miles

Women's Shortboard: Kaira, Hannah, Katrina (Alt) Kyla, Helen

Women's Longboard: Kaira, Hannah, Kyla (Alt) Helen

Bodyboard: Hunter, Malcolm, Griffin (Alt) Carson, Miles, August

For those competitors still in town and looking for a tune-up, practice Weds (Feb-20) will be at Pleasure Point, which will have similar swell to contest day and hard side-offshore NW winds. I will be leaving HMB about 12:30 pm. For those who can't make the drive, the Jetty will offer some protection from the winds and swell.
