What a great season! You all did very well, the community of HMB and Santa Cruz are very proud of what you have accomplished in the Water and at School.

Now, we need to start getting ready for next season. On July 10th we will be holding a "Meet the Coaches and Surfers", get together at Roosevelt Beach from 10AM to 2PM for all of you and any new people that want to be a part of this great organization. The Coaches ( Marty) will be cooking up Hamburgers and Hot Dogs. As you all know, we need female surfers for the High School and male surfers for the Middle school, so please help get the word out about this event. The coaches would like for you all to bring wetsuits, the club will bring boards, for taking some of the new comers out and for you to do some surfing. Please get the word out to friends and acquaintences, that this will be happening. We will also be putting an ad in the HMB review to announce the event.

Updated...  the contest will be at Capitola State Beach. 

The CSSL Contest will start  at 7:00am ---BUT--- HMB Surfers need to be at the beach by 9:00am (we won't be competeing TEAM vs TEAM against Shorline till 10:00am) though we need the kids there by 9:00am to get ready and check in with the Coaches! We will have the trailer parked in the parking lot at the main Parking lot at Capitola Beach towards the end of Esplanade. If your surfer needs to send boards or the like with the trailer please drop them off at Rocky's house on Friday night. before 9:00 pm.
