Practice will be Start at Dunes Beach this weekend ( Not at the Jetty as previously Stated)... see you in the morning ...

We will start this practice at 8 on 10-17-10

The contest at Pleasure Point will start at 7am for us... We will meet at Starbucks at 5:30am to head to SC with the Team trailer.

Manresa State Beach

For those of you, High School or Middle School folks, that haven't been to Manresa State Beach ->

here is a google map link to the Beach ... Basically take Hwy 1 South ... Drive thru Santa Cruz... keep going as if you are headed towards Watsonville/Monterey

The Coaches

The contest this weekend is at The Hook ... Take a right off of highway one, on to 41st Ave (this is south of the Highway 1 & Highway 17 interchange). The Hook is at the end of 41st Ave, (about where it says Opal Cliffs on the Google Map below) There is a parking lot but, it will fill up quick!

We will be meeting at Starbucks in HMB @ 7:30am to drive south. If there are Items/Boards that need to be put in the Trailer please be there on time. Our First Heat is at 10am... we would like the kids there early so they can get a feel for the spot and maybe have a paddle out before their heat.

Folks-

The Middle School Contest location will be at Dunes beach. We would ask that all team members arrive are at the beach by 6:30am - As we are the home team and will be surfing against one of the Santa Cruz Teams first thing at 7am... If you are one of the 6 boys surfing in the short board team on team event at 7am please be suited up and at the beach at 6:30am.

As a side note before driving to the beach please check email before driving to the beach - on the off chance there is a venue change...If it is changed you will receive an email before 6am from Rocky as to the location.
